16/05/2019: Our campaign for New Recruits is now open. For all New Recruits to the MDP, your initial posting will be as an Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO) with opportunties to train for specialist positions once in the Force and where vacancies exist.

As we are a national force other vacancies may arise at different locations to those listed above and no station is guaranteed. Candidates will be asked to give three preferences of locations prior to being invited to an assessment if they reach that stage.

Closing date: All completed applications must be received by the Resourcing Team no later than 5pm on 31 May 2019.
