Emergency and non-emergency contacts
Call the 24-hour Control Centre on 0300 1232 101 or email MDP-ForceControl@mod.gov.uk, if you want to report crime or anything suspicious, that does not require an emergency response, in or around the sites we protect.
If you send an email, please include your name and contact details. It may take up to 48 hours for us to respond to your enquiry, dependent on the volume of incidents being handled by the Force at the time.
In an emergency, always call 999, this includes:
where a serious offence is in progress or has just been committed
someone is in immediate danger or harm
property is in danger of being damaged
a serious disruption to the public is likely
Silent 999 calls
If you're in danger but you can't talk on the phone, you should still call 999, then follow the instructions for calling from a mobile or landline.
Anti-terrorist hotline:
Phone: 0800 789 321
Call the UK anti-terrorist hotline, to report any threats to national security.

Make a complaint
To make a complaint about the Ministry of Defence Police contact: MDP-PSD-Group@mod.gov.uk.
Make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request
Read about the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and how to make a request.
Check our previous releases to see if we've already answered your question.
Make a new request by contacting: MDP-FOI-DP@mod.gov.uk.
Please note: The Ministry of Defence Police is a specialist national armed police force responsible for protecting the nation's defences and national infrastructure. The nature of this work means that the force does not, for example, routinely deal with missing person cases or certain types of offences or arrests, such as murder. Submission of FOI requests on these subjects will therefore usually have a nil response.
